The Journal for the Package Printing Industries
Package,
Print & Converting International is the only worldwide publication
covering the whole of the packaging origination and printing
industry across all print processes - gravure, flexo, litho,
letterpress, screen and digital - across every material from
corrugated and cartonboard to flexible packaging and metal containers.
The package print industry is totally different
to the commercial print market. More demanding in terms of quality
of design, speed of changeover between products, complexity of
decoration and finishing. And because packaging design is fully
digital, the industry presents the best opportunity to manufacturers
of digital work-flows from design workstations to CTP and digital
proofing.
The demands of packaging printers need to
be addressed by a publication which understands the issues confronting
the industry: global production the need for branding consistency
across continents, the origination and use of special colours
and decorative processes, step-and-repeat and computer-aided
design of dies and cylinders.
The magazine is read by top decision-makers
across the world of printing on packaging who come to it for
specialist information they cannot obtain from the printing weeklies
or monthlies, or from the magazines which deal purely with packaging.
So Package Print &Design Converting International is a unique
publication, serving a market worth £120bn in Europe alone.
